Rocksteady by cool-slayer Rocksteady by cool-slayer
Back when both me and :iconpunkbox: submitted our Krang deviations, we got talking and we came to the conclusion that Rocksteady would be another cool TMNT character to have a crack at.

So it took a while longer than I though, but I finally managed to finish my take on Rocksteady, and here it is. I tried to keep it on a similar style to the Krang pic, but I think I should have drawn him a little less angry and maybe a little more stupid haha

I hope you guys like it! And keep your eyes on :iconpunkbox: page, you don't want to miss his Rocksteady!

Rocksteady! Wow That kicks mad arse! I especially love that you kept his helmet on...I hated when on the cartoon back in the 1900's, he only wore his helmet for like, his first three appearances!

The helmet was cool and I don't know, I just really liked it on good ol' Rocksteady, so it wasn't even a question, I had to include it :) I'm very glad you liked this!

Excellent. The neon pink light coming from the side was a nice addition. So incredibly 80s. Excellent version of Rocksteady too. I like it.

Yeah, I'm trying to give these Turtle villains drawings a little 80s/early 90s flare. I guess the semi-obnoxious colors bother some people, but I kinda like them and I'm glad you liked them too :) I like their cheesyness, so to speak. Thanks so much, Dan!

P'sha! I think the only people it would bother are those with no flair for nostalgia.

Oh god. You've gone all TMNT and retro on us these days.
The first thing I noticed was his teeth. They really cracked me up because of their enormity.
I don't think you should've decreased his intelligence any more than what you have already. His pose, the colours, and the ginormous teeth are enough to make his biceps look ridiculous.
Those sweat beads are also a very humorous addition

Yeah... you know how these things go. You draw one guy, then you think it'd be cool to draw another one, and the thing goes on and on  me and ~PUNKBOX will probably draw Bebop next, but I'm working on something to submit in between so I don't make my watchers sick of having their inboxes flooded with turtle fanart.
I'm really glad you liked it! I thought making him this beefy would make him look a bit dumb too, so I'm glad you agree. I had a lot of fun, especially drawing his face, the enormous teeth and all haha Thanks so much!

Cowboy Bebop? Ha. Such a strange turn from the blinding 80s florescence to the early Japanese anime. Looking forward to seeing your take of it though
